Vacation Rentals 2U.com and Shore Summer Rentals.com are both owned and operated by Chris and Maria Kirk, a husband and wife team who proudly offer quality vacation rental properties to the online public.  With the strength of eighteen years of combined experience in finance, marketing, commercial real estate, and property management, Chris and Maria have developed a wealth of knowledge in successfully pairing property owners with renters who wish to vacation along the United States coastal towns.

Chris and Maria live in the South Jersey area and have two children. Marissa is 14 and Jason is 9. Maria was born and raised in Cherry Hill, NJ.  Chris was born and raised in the northeast section of Philadelphia, PA.  They moved to Egg Harbor Township, NJ in 2005 to be closer to the shore area and their customer's daily needs.

Maria handles the day to day operations for the company.  Prior to starting SSR, Maria had eight years of commercial real estate, property management experience with firms located in center city, Philadelphia.

Chris handles the online advertising needs with fine detail and precision.  Chris also provides financial insight and marketing expertise to the company.  He  possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Temple University along with ten years of financial management experience and is also a Data Analyst for a health care company in center city, Philadelphia.

Marissa, my daughter, is starting to dabble in Shore Summer Rentals.com.  She is a great help in creating ads, posting photos, descriptions, rates, etc. for our customers.

Office Assistance

Due to the increase in business, Vacation Rentals 2U.com and Shore Summer Rentals.com now staffs two part-time personal assistants, Raya and Ethel.  They are a great asset to Maria and Chris.

Raya has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management.  She is fluent in several languages, including English, French, and Bulgarian.  Raya offers tremendous support to Maria all year.  She is meticulous and thorough. She works for Maria from her home in Bulgaria but hopes to join her husband very soon here in the United States, we cannot wait to have her back with us.  "Chris and I met Raya and her husband, Kal, over 4 years ago and consider them part of our family!"

Ethel worked for Commonwealth Land Title Ins. Co. in Philadelphia for 34 years and was, among many other positions, Supervisor of General Accounting.  She is currently the Accounts Payable Administrator for the Development Accounting division of a major REIT in Center City, Philadelphia.  "I met Ethel over 9 years ago while working together in center city, Philadelphia and  have been great friends ever since, we also consider her part of our family." Ethel actually took over my position while I  went on maternity leave to have my son who is now 9 years old.

Mike recently joined our staff in the sales department.  He has a master's degree in business from La Salle University and received his bachelor's degree from Rowan University.  Mike has over 15 years experience in the sales field, we are very happy that he has joined our team.  Mike and Maria attended high school together at Camden Catholic in Cherry Hill, NJ.  Mike can be reached by e-mail or telephone at 856-396-5584.
