Hilltop Hideway is a tastefully decorated, luxury, two- level, log cabin on Douglas Lake near Dandridge, Tennessee. The cabin is located in the beautiful Paradise Landing Resort. Most of the 500 acre development is wooded and lots are large and restricted to assure privacy for each homeowner.
Hilltop Hideway sits on a 3 acre knoll with gorgeous views of the mountains and has a walking path down to the edge of Douglas Lake. Wildlife abounds in the area and it is not unusual to see turkey, deer, raccoon, fox, groundhog, rabbit and squirrel. There is covered parking for two cars and ample parking for additional guests.
This cabin is the ideal spot for a fishing retreat, extended family vacations, affinity groups, or for a group of friends to relax and enjoy the mountain scenery and cabin amenities. It is also well-located for day trips to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee and /or for the scenic drive to Asheville for a visit to the popular Biltmore House and Gardens or the historic Grove Park Inn.
Douglas Lake is normally near full pool from late April to late August for recreational use and is an excellent fishing lake year round. While the resort or cabin does not have a dock there are two nearby marinas which cater to boating and fishing enthusiasts.
Close access to the interstate and easy 1-1/2 hr drive to Bristol for the races. Here in the winter time, just the perfect spot for your family to have a wonderful getaway quiet away from all the traffic and hustle and bustle yet a short drive to countless opportunities within a 45 minute drive. No smoking, no pets.
