The Cabin at Water Gap Retreat has three sleeping areas and comfortably accommodates up to eight people. The two downstairs bedrooms have full-size beds. The cabin's sleeping loft, accessible by a ladder, has a single bed and a full-size bed. The cabin has a fully-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, front porch, stone fireplace, television with a DVD player, small stereo, and air conditioning. Private outdoor hot tub on back deck.

The cabin is decorated with artwork by Michael Davis, Michael McClintock, Carol Freeman, Sharon Goodman, Ruth Blackwell Rogers, and other local artists. This beautiful cabin on Shavers Fork River allows you to have fun in the sun, swimming, fishing and kyacking all day long. The cabin is located along the Monongahela National Forest where you can spend your day hunting deer, turkey and bear. Or you can spend the day hiking and biking the forest trails.

In season, you can enjoy fresh produce from our organic fruit and vegetable garden. The cabin is located on a campground which provides the perfect setting for family get togethers, bring along your tent or RV for the perfect vacation.

If you enjoy the arts, crafts, or a day of antiquing we are just 7 miles from Elkins. Elkins is also the home of the American Mountain Theater, scenic railroad rides, and Davis and Elkins College. Every summer Elkins hosts the Augusta Heritage workshops. The cabin is 15 miles from the historic town of Beverly, West Virginia with its rich Civil War history.
